Quality

Best looks the same as the original. Smaller files are easier to email.

How it works

  1. Pick your photos. From your camera roll, files or computer.
  2. We fix them on your phone.Resized on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
  3. Save them back to Photos.Into your camera roll, or your Downloads on a computer.

Two ways to resize

By size: type a width, a height, or both, in pixels. With Keep proportions on, the photo fits inside that box without being stretched. Turn it off to get exactly that width and height. By percentage: make photos 25%, 50% or 75% smaller.

Don’t make photos bigger stops small photos being blown up and turning blurry.

JPG quality after resizing

Resized JPGs are saved at high quality, so they stay sharp. If you also need a smaller file, run them through Compress JPEG.

Questions

Is resizing a JPG lossless?

Not quite: any JPG is re-compressed when saved. We save at high quality so you won’t see it.

Can I resize many at once?

Yes. Pick as many JPG files as you like and each is resized the same way.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing happens on your phone or computer, in the browser. Load the page, turn on airplane mode and try it: it still works.
